El tiempo en Sunshine Coast es muy bueno. Los inviernos son cortos, húmedos y soleados. Debido a la humedad de un clima prácticamente tropical, quizá algún día tengas que usar chaqueta, ya que la sensación térmica te invitará a ello, pero la temperatura no suele bajar más de 10 grados a lo largo de todo el año. ¡No tendrás que cargar tu maleta con abrigos de invierno!
Por su parte, los veranos suelen ser bastante calurosos y húmedos, así que te recomendamos que lleves encima una botellita de agua como compañera de viaje. También tendrás varios días nublados a lo largo del verano, lo que a veces creará sensación de bochorno. ¡Nada que no se pueda solucionar con un buen chapuzón en la playa!
La temporada templada va de noviembre a marzo y para muchos es la mejor época para ir a disfrutar de todas las actividades al aire libre que se pueden hacer en esta región.

How to get around the Sunshine Coast
Sin duda, en la Costa del Sol australiana, el medio de transporte más usado es el autobús. Para ello te recomendamos que obtengas la Go Card de Translink. Esta te permitirá usar todos los servicios de autobuses, trenes, ferris y tranvías, además del alquiler de bicicletas, otro medio de transporte en Sunshine Coast muy interesante si lo que te gusta es el pedaleo.
Con esta tarjeta, el viaje te saldrá hasta un treinta por ciento más barato que si compras un viaje suelto. Las tarifas varían según la zona a la que te quieras desplazar y el momento del día en el que lo hagas, pero el precio más barato por un desplazamiento de corta distancia es de 2,60 AUD.
También tienes la posibilidad de usar Uber, en caso de que necesites desplazarte rápido. Para ello necesitarás descargarte la aplicación en tu móvil y seleccionar el recorrido que quieres hacer. Es un servicio que funciona como los taxis tradicionales, pero es bastante más barato.
Por último, cabe considerar la compra de una bicicleta o una moto de segunda mano. Tener un vehículo propio que puedas usar en cualquier momento sin depender de horarios da mucha libertad. A tu partida, siempre podrás venderla en webs de segunda mano como Gumtree.

- Noosa Festival of Surfing: en marzo, el surf es el protagonista. Este festival dura una semana y cuenta con un abanico amplio de categorías, ¡hay competición hasta para perros! - Sunshine Coast Fashion Festival: Every October, Caloundra transforms for one day into the fashion capital of the state of Queensland. It features both new and renowned designers from the Australian scene.
- Abbey Medieval Festival: this is the largest medieval festival in all Australia. It is held each year in mid-July at the Abbey Museum and includes medieval banquets, balls and archery.

- Noosa National Park: este parque nacional es uno de los lugares más visitados del estado de Queensland.
